How to bring good karma/energy into your life.

I truly believe you get out of life what you put into it.

Always think positive. Life is a projection of what you put out. See the silver linings, look at the bright side of not so good situations. Good fortune and happiness will eventually follow. 

Love often, and whole heartedly. Remind your loved ones how appreciated they are and how much they mean to you. Never, go to bed angry. Learn to forgive and move on or forget and start again.

Smile at strangers, they will often smile back. Compliment someone, you never know if you just made that persons day, or week. :-)

Plant something be it a tree, or a garden, or some flowers. Nurturing the earth makes you feel good. Recycle, re-use, and reinvent old things. Instead of using paper or plastic bags, get a tote to carry your groceries in.

Put good things into your body. Eat healthy foods. Food is healthy at it's rawest state. Raw nuts, fruits, and vegetables are good for you. Learn to cook healthy meals and your body will thank you for it.

Exercise, the endorphins released when you do are well worth it. It can improve your mood and your figure at the same time!

Accept that there are certain things you cannot change. You are not in control much of your own fate. So why worry about it?

Open your mind to other people's beliefs, cultures, and opinions, even if you don't agree. There can be valid points and things to learn from every one. Listen, with gratitude because i'm sure that's how you would like to be treated.

Think like a child. Let your imagination run wild and inspiration will return to you.

I believe very strongly in aroma therapy. I use peppermint oils to soothe a headache and wake me up. Orange is energizing lavender is great for sleep. Pick a scent that picks you up and makes you feel good.

Listen to music you love. Music, can drastically improve your mood and is good for soothing and calming. It can help you think better when you're stressed. I would recommend Enya or any soft music.

Read. Reading educates you and activates your mind. Writing frees your soul and helps you to become more self-actualized.

Think of others. Do sweet gestures for the people in your life. Bake cookies, write letters, or call them up.

Meditate or pray. It helps to clear your mind, by putting you in a semi-concious state.

Sleep well. Sleep is when your brain is organizing and processing information. A good nights sleep will do wonders to help you solve your problems and tasks for the day.

Yoga is extremely beneficial mentally and physically. You feel so good after wards. Do a few poses daily to improve your mentality and physicality.

Thank you for all these uplifting ideas, RetailPrincess. I have been pondering trying yoga and meditation and just need to find the resources to learn about them. I know there are some great hubs that can get me started. You have inspired me to make the move!
