How to have an unconventional Valentines day.

Take your lover camping. What better way to enjoy each other's company, than in the raw beauty of nature. You can bring a glass of wine, and enjoy the moon and stars together. Bring some classical music like Vivaldi or Debussy. Have a sort of night time picnic and do some stargazing. Of course, swimming naked in the lake and sleeping in the same sleeping bag is required. ;-)

Take a trip to the an arboretum what better way to spend valentines day than among the flowers? Then after wards you could do something conventional like go to dinner or to a symphony.

Take a overnight trip to a nice hotel not too far from where you live. Relax in the spa, go to the pool, and enjoy each others company. Heck, stay a few days and take advantage of room service. Make sure to put the "do not disturb" sign on the door!

Go salsa dancing. He may hate it though if he has two left feet, but it could be fun and spicy. Ole! And if that's not his thing, what kid at heart doesn't love roller skating. Hold hands around the rink and smooch like a couple of kids.

Get some gourmet food, bring it home and feed it to each other by a well lit fire, then roast marshmellows and make s'mores. Particularly a good idea if the weather is frightful. Preferably you have a soft comfortable rug and some pillows set out so you can romp around by the fire place you can play some good tunes you both love. After wards give each other sensual massages with special oils.
